About the assignment
As a mechanical designer in the Sensor Mechanics Design team, you will be part of the Hardware Design department, which is responsible for mechanical, cabling, and power design for ground-based and maritime radar systems. You will work in an agile development team focused on product development, where close collaboration with other designers, procurement, materials engineers, simulation engineers, and production is a natural part of everyday life. The work involves designing mechanical solutions for antennas and microwave-related products, often with high demands for precision, strength, and manufacturability.
The section is facing an increased production rate in connection with new development projects, which provides excellent opportunities to contribute your experience while also developing in a technically challenging environment.
Your Profile
- 3 years of experience in mechanical design within product development
- Experience working in technically advanced project environments
- Strong knowledge of Creo, Windchill, and IFS
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
- Good collaborative skills and experience working in agile teams
- A structured, driven, and solution-oriented approach to work
Meritorious
- Experience in composite design
- Experience from defense or security-related development projects
