Mechanical Design Engineer

We are now seeking a Mechanical Designer for a consulting assignment with our client in the defense industry. Here, you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology, developing high-tech products that contribute to increased safety for individuals and communities. **About the Assignment** As a Mechanical Designer, you will design and develop mechanical solutions based on specifications. You will participate in the entire product lifecycle – from requirements management and specification to design, verification, and documentation. You will work on creating 3D models, 2D drawings, and manufacturing documentation, as well as contribute to both new development projects and product maintenance. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other development engineers in project form, where you will alternate between larger projects that require good teamwork skills and smaller assignments that demand independence. Our client has a clear ambition to stay at the forefront of technology and create an environment where you can develop, take responsibility, and contribute your technical expertise. **Your Profile** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Experience in mechanical design and product development - Experience working with 3D CAD, preferably Catia / 3DExperience - Understanding of requirements management, verification, and technical documentation - Ability to work both independently and in a team - Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written **Security Requirements:** The assignment is classified – Swedish citizenship and an approved security clearance are required.
