Job Opening: Mechanic/Tool Technician at Emballator
WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING a practically-minded individual with a feel for mechanics and technology, preferably with experience as a mechanic, workshop worker, or in maintenance.
ABOUT THE JOB
In this role, you will join the technology and maintenance department, which consists of 11 employees, including three mechanics/tool technicians. As a mechanic/tool technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high operational reliability and production quality. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Performing planned and preventive maintenance and servicing of mold tools and inserts
• Continuous tool inspection
• Identifying and driving corrective actions to maintain good tool standards through root cause investigation, action planning, and implementation
• Handling deviations and participating in improvement work
• Planning and preparing molds for production
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone who enjoys tinkering and is curious about understanding how things work. To succeed in this position, you need basic competence in this area, preferably with experience as a workshop worker, mechanic, or in maintenance.
As a person, you must have the ability to be thorough and persistent, even when work requires repetitive tasks.
A valid driver's license (B-class) is required for the position. Forklift and crane operation certifications are meritorious but not mandatory.
ABOUT THE POSITION
• Working hours: Daytime, Mon-Fri 07:00-16:00
• Full-time position, with an initial probationary period
• Location: Växjö
• Collective agreement in place
