Want to Help Build Something New?
Are You a Skilled Mechanic Who Enjoys Solving Problems, Improving Work Methods, and Contributing to Stable and Safe Operations?
We are now seeking two mechanics for our renovation workshop. This workshop is a new maintenance facility for hot rolling, where we are establishing a team of mechanics. Here, you'll have the opportunity to be part of the startup phase, influence work methods, and help shape an efficient and sustainable workshop environment. The workshop is part of the hot rolling 5S work, where order, structure, and safety are a natural part of daily life.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in production, engineering, and other maintenance areas, working together towards safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. With us, you'll have a varied and practical job, involved throughout the entire process – from planning to completed renovation. We work closely with production and do much of the renovation ourselves, so you'll truly be able to utilize your experience and skills in the workshop.
What You Will Do
In the mechanic role, you will:
• Work on dismantling, renovating, and assembling machine equipment
• Perform planned and some preventive maintenance
• Work with welding, bearing installation, and blueprint reading
• Hose pressing (previous experience is a plus)
• Document actions, spare parts, and time in the maintenance system
• Participate in planned maintenance stops
• Propose and drive improvements that increase availability and operational reliability
• Contribute to failure investigations and root cause analyses
You'll have significant personal responsibility, varied tasks, and the opportunity to influence work development.
Who We Believe You Are
You have a technical high school education, preferably in technology, industry, or vehicle programs, and at least two years of maintenance experience in heavy industry. You are computer-proficient and comfortable working with MS Office and various maintenance systems. You also have good blueprint reading skills and understand the importance of thorough documentation.
As a person, you are responsible, structured, and have high safety awareness. You are a team player who enjoys collaboration but also take initiative and work independently when needed. You like finding solutions, developing work methods, and contributing to continuous improvements. With us, you'll have the opportunity to grow in an environment where each day offers new challenges.
