Your Role
We are currently seeking a mechanic for our unique production of state-of-the-art submarines and surface vessels at one of the world's most modern shipyards.
In your role as a mechanic, your primary responsibilities will focus on the manufacturing and assembly of mechanical installations within the new construction of surface vessels. As a mechanic, you will work in areas such as propulsion, valve/pump, rudder assembly, and leak testing. This makes the work highly varied and provides excellent opportunities to develop your craft and professional skills.

Your Profile
Requirements
* Competence in material processing, including drilling, turning, milling, and threading.
* High school education in engineering technology or equivalent.
* Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
* Good material knowledge.
* Basic computer skills.
Meritorious
* Previous experience working with overhead cranes, forklifts, and mobile platforms.
* Fastening techniques and measurement technology.
* Experience in areas such as hydraulics/pneumatics, compressed air, and safety valves.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
