About this role
Vision is a modern and growing trade union in constant change, and we continue to strengthen our union power. Vision's members lead, develop, and administer welfare and work in municipalities, regions, private companies, or the church. Our 218,000 members are spread across the country and represent thousands of different professions, forming a valuable network together. We are a feminist organization, politically independent, and part of TCO.
We are looking for Membership Recruiters
Do you want to be part of making trade union history? Vision is growing – and we are now making a significant effort to increase our membership and elected representatives. Therefore, we are seeking engaged membership recruiters who, with energy, warmth, and conviction, want to contribute to strengthening Vision as a trade union. With us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by helping us increase our union strength.
Main Responsibilities
• Visit workplaces within a large geographical area to inform about membership and recruit new members.
• Create engagement among both existing and potential members and strengthen relationships with our elected representatives.
• Plan, execute, and follow up on recruitment efforts – both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
• Monitor statistics and contribute to the development of our recruitment efforts.
• Planning, documentation, and communication.
We are looking for someone who
• Has experience in sales, membership recruitment, or other outreach activities.
• Is a skilled communicator who inspires trust, motivates, and engages others.
• Has basic knowledge of the labor market, collective agreements, and trade union activities.
• Is structured and self-driven with the ability to plan and manage your work independently.
• Holds a valid driver's license and has access to a car, as travel with overnight stays is part of the role.
• Possesses good digital skills and preferably experience in digital membership recruitment and social media.
• Shares and is loyal to Vision's values.
We also believe you are a person who thrives in social settings, easily establishes connections, and inspires others. You are confident and trustworthy, with a natural ability to engage and motivate. When faced with new situations, you think creatively, find solutions, and adapt quickly. You have a strong drive, work purposefully, and are motivated by seeing tangible results from your efforts. You will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues in the office.
