Medical Technology, a department within Regional Services, is responsible for most of Region Örebro County's support regarding medical technology issues, equipment, and systems. We work with procurement, training, safety, maintenance, system management, and the design and development of medical technology products and systems. Our management system is certified according to ISO 9001 and 13485.
Job Responsibilities
We offer an exciting job where you as a medical technology engineer will work closely with healthcare operations and professional groups. In addition to service and support of medical technology equipment and systems, you will also be involved in procurement, evaluation, project work, training of healthcare staff, quality and safety-related work, technical consulting, and the development and improvement of technology and methods.
The work spans a broad technological area from electronics, data systems/networks, and medical gas technology to advanced mechanical systems. The position involves working with equipment in patient-near environments.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with a college engineering degree or equivalent qualifications and professional experience, preferably with a focus on medical technology and laboratory operations. Practical experience in service, support, and problem-solving in similar work areas is meritorious, as is education and/or experience in mechanics.
We are looking for a driven individual who creates engagement and contributes to a positive atmosphere in the work group. As a person, you are flexible, detail-oriented, responsible, and good at communicating and collaborating. Personal suitability is crucial. A valid driver's license (B-license) is required. You must be proficient in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
