We are looking for
We are seeking someone with a university degree in engineering or other education that, combined with work experience, can be deemed equivalent. Experience in medical technology and practical service work within healthcare is advantageous. Proficiency in Swedish and English, as well as a Class B driver's license, is required.

Since we work closely with healthcare services and have daily contact with our customers, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and has a collaborative spirit. You can independently plan and execute your work, have a sense of order and structure, and are organized. At the same time, you are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances.
What you will be working on
The MT engineers are responsible for the operation of medical technology equipment within Region Norrbotten. The work encompasses the entire lifecycle – procurement, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning – in areas such as dialysis, intensive and emergency care, surgery, laboratory medicine, and radiology. Practical work with maintenance and troubleshooting is interspersed with assisting other functions with technical expertise in development projects and procurements. You will actively participate in the development of our operations in close collaboration with healthcare, and the work is always conducted in accordance with applicable regulations. The position is based at Sunderby Hospital in Luleå. Travel within the county occurs, primarily to health centers in the municipality but also to hospitals in other locations. Product training and professional development with our suppliers take place continuously during employment, sometimes even outside the Nordic region.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon; working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
