WeMind works for mental health and offers care and support services within adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP), residential care (HVB), as well as resource and treatment schools. We operate evidence-based, monitor treatment outcomes, are resource-conscious, and always approach our work with kindness. Our most important building block is, of course, our employees, and together we strive to continuously improve psychiatry in Sweden. Through effective and equitable care and interventions, we truly make a difference. Become one of us!
For this position, there is an opportunity for significant flexibility regarding the scope and form of employment. We are looking for someone who wants to work 20% or more, and we can have a dialogue about which employment form suits you best; hourly employment or permanent employment.
Your new workplace
In December 2024, WeMind opened our new assessment unit in Vasastan, Stockholm, where we conduct neuropsychiatric assessments for children and adolescents on behalf of Region Stockholm. We are now looking for someone who wants to continue developing and driving the operations together with us!
The work follows national guidelines and is based on evidence-based methods. Our working methods are structured yet flexible, and the daily work is characterized by a lack of prestige, collaboration, and openness. WeMind strives to always prioritize the needs of our patients, and together with a competent and experienced team of specialist doctors, psychologists, and administrative staff, you will create the best care for the target group. The clinic also has a smaller private operation for self-paying patients.
Working as a Medical Director and Specialist Physician at WeMind
In addition to working as a senior physician at the unit, as a Medical Director (MLA), you will be an important part of the management of the operations together with the unit manager. You will participate in regular medical management group meetings with the medical director and other MLAs at WeMind, and actively work on patient safety at the unit, development of medical routines, and the advancement of the operations. The role also includes further developing existing services and creating conditions for receiving children and adolescents for medication treatment.
As a physician at WeMind's NP clinic, you will work with neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents aged 6-17 years. You will be responsible, in a team with psychologists, for the assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of ADHD, autism, and intellectual disabilities. You will provide the medical specialist expertise in the assessment process and contribute with expert knowledge in medical/psychiatric matters.
Your most important contribution is made in meetings with patients, which is why we have administrative staff and clear routines that free up time for your specialist expertise to shine. Meet our doctors on WeMind's career page.

WeMind's most important building block is, of course, our employees. For us, it is essential to have a safe and pleasant work environment where every employee has a stimulating work situation and enjoys their job.
