This position is a temporary assignment while our Medical Responsible Nurse will be on parental leave.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS), you are responsible for ensuring our healthcare is conducted safely, appropriately, and with high quality within elderly care, ordinary housing, and disability support. You will work both strategically and operatively with development, supervision, and advisory in medical matters.
Your assignment includes:
• Designing and following up routines for areas such as medication management and documentation
• Analyzing statistics, deviations, and open comparisons
• Participating in procurement, investigations, and quality development
• Collaborating with both internal and external actors
• Providing professional support within the administration
The role also includes responsibility for rehabilitation, where you will support and assist rehabilitation personnel such as occupational therapists and physiotherapists. In Båstads Municipality, there is no Rehabilitation Responsible Nurse (MAR) function.
The Director of Care and Social Services will be your manager, and you will be part of the Care and Social Services management team.

QUALIFICATIONS
You applying for the position must be a licensed nurse. We prefer that you have relevant advanced education for the assignment. You should have several years of experience in municipal healthcare and preferably experience with quality and development work. Through your education and experience, you should have extensive knowledge of healthcare legislation (HSL), Social Services Act (SoL), and the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). Previous experience as a Medical Responsible Nurse is considered meritorious.
To succeed in the role, you must have good pedagogical skills that create clarity, engagement, and participation. You should have a professional approach and easily collaborate with colleagues and other actors while being able to work independently. As a person, you are self-assured, structured, and unpretentious with good judgment. Furthermore, you focus on solutions and possibilities based on the organization's needs and conditions, balanced with legislative requirements.
You should have very good knowledge of the Office package and experience with operational systems. A B driver's license is required.
