The Social Services Administration in Öckerö Municipality is an engaged and forward-looking department. The Social Services Administration consists of the areas of elderly care and support for individuals with disabilities, authority and social welfare, health, support and development, as well as emergency services. The administration is led by a head of department and has its own board.
As a MAR/Operations Developer, you will belong to the Health, Support, and Development area. Within this area, there are units for Administrative Support and Development, municipal primary care nurses, as well as municipal primary care rehabilitation, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, along with the function of the medically responsible nurse.
We are looking for an engaged and communicative leader who wants to help create a high-quality operation where the individual is at the center.
Responsibilities: As MAR, you have overall responsibility for ensuring that the municipality's rehabilitation and habilitation efforts maintain a high medical quality, comply with laws and regulations, and develop based on evidence and needs. Through your role, you contribute to ensuring that the work in our operations is person-centered, health-promoting, and preventive. We work in teams to create a comprehensive view of the patient's needs, thereby providing safe, effective, and coordinated care. You collaborate closely with managers, employees, and other professionals.
You are responsible for:
• Driving the development of the municipal rehabilitation services through co-creative processes.
• Establishing and following up on guidelines and routines related to the area.
• Providing advice on medical issues related to rehabilitation.
• Supporting managers in systematic patient safety work.
• Investigating and assessing deviations within your area of responsibility and reporting according to Lex Maria.
• Representing the municipality in networks and collaborative forums.
You also have the role of operations developer focusing on dementia, where you play a key role in the municipality's work with quality and development in the dementia field. You are responsible for the municipality's work with the BPSD register (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms in Dementia) and contribute to ensuring that our operations are based on current knowledge and good quality. You are also part of the municipality's dementia team, where you work operationally. Furthermore, you are responsible for the administration and development of the municipality's BPSD register, following up and analyzing statistics, and producing reports for operations and management.
An important part of the role as MAR/Operations Developer is to monitor the external environment and stay updated on research, methods, and national guidelines.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist with good knowledge of dementia diseases and experience working in elderly care. You have a genuine interest in collaboration, learning, and development, and thrive in a role where you combine your medical expertise with strategic thinking and communicative leadership.
