About this role
We are now strengthening our team with an additional medical care administrator, as the current employee has been assigned to a different role within the Psychiatry Department. Care administration is a vital component of the organization's work, and together with our medical care administrators, we develop the professional role, administrative workflows, and ensure that the area's administrative processes function effectively. The work is highly varied and offers close collaboration with all professional groups in psychiatry.
The Psychiatry Department conducts acute and planned activities within outpatient care and round-the-clock care. We have administrative offices at the university hospital in Örebro, Karlskoga, Hallsberg, and Lindesberg. Care administration is a central function in our operations, ensuring that administrative processes are efficient. The psychiatric administration consists of approximately 60 medical care administrators overseen by three unit managers. Region Örebro County is one of the largest employers in the area and serves as an important growth engine for the region. **Medical Care Administrator, Psychiatric Administration 1, Location: Örebro**
**Responsibilities**
The position is located in the General Psychiatry Department 2 at the University Hospital in Örebro and is one of two round-the-clock care units associated with general psychiatry. The role includes standard tasks for a medical care administrator, such as medical documentation, patient administration, billing work, mail handling, and providing administrative support to other professional groups. You should be able to work independently, be solution-focused, and maintain a professional demeanor. Contributing to the organization's development and change projects is seen as a natural part of your work. There is an established collaboration between our medical care administrators positioned in the psychiatric round-the-clock care and our psychiatric emergency reception.
**Additional Information**

**Qualifications**
Education as a medical care administrator, medical secretary, or equivalent is required. You should have strong proficiency in the Swedish language, be service-oriented, flexible, independent, and meticulous, with good collaboration skills. You easily establish good rapport with both patients and colleagues and enjoy working in a team. Familiarity with the Cosmic journal system is considered advantageous. You are open to development and motivated to work on continuous improvements in the organization and progress in your professional role. We will place significant emphasis on personal suitability.
