We are currently seeking a Medical Care Administrator/SVF Coordinator for the Surgical Clinic's regional administration based in Örebro. The surgical operations area has a close collaboration between the three hospitals in the region. The area has a regional mandate for emergency and planned surgical healthcare, and we also provide some highly specialized care for out-of-region patients. Here, there are 350 employees across various units such as outpatient care, inpatient wards, surgery, and secretariat. Planned healthcare is increasingly located in Karlskoga and Lindesberg, while tumor and trauma services are based in Örebro. Within the operational area, there is an active development effort focused on the patient throughout the care process. Together, we create a better life. **Medical Care Administrator/SVF Coordinator - Surgical Clinic USÖ** **Job Responsibilities** The position is a combination of SVF Coordinator and Medical Care Administrator. You will have a central role and work closely with all professional categories within the Surgical Clinic as well as other clinics, both as an SVF Coordinator and Medical Care Administrator. In the role of Medical Care Administrator, you will handle tasks such as medical documentation, referral management, patient administration, diagnosis coding, and other administrative duties within the clinic. As an SVF Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include managing incoming SVF referrals that meet the criteria for standardized care pathways. Additionally, you will schedule and contact patients for examinations within the various care pathways and ensure that ordered examinations are conducted without unnecessary delays. This role also includes coding to measure the lead times and quality of care pathways. You may also be responsible for certain quality registers within the clinic alongside current coordinators. **Additional Information** We welcome your application! You should have a good command of the Swedish language, be service-oriented, flexible, independent, and meticulous, as well as possess strong collaborative skills. You easily create positive interactions with both patients and colleagues and enjoy working in a team. Familiarity with the Cosmic journal system is considered an advantage. You are open to development and like to work towards continuous improvements in the organization and to grow in your professional role.
