About this role
We are seeking a curious and committed medical secretary for adult psychiatry in Kalmar.

You will receive a developing and varied assignment with significant personal responsibility – where collaboration and shared commitment are key to the organization's success.
You will closely collaborate with other medical secretaries and healthcare personnel within the operations. Your primary tasks include journal documentation, referral management, cash registration, group administration, as well as self-checks and follow-ups. Additionally, you will staff the reception at our clinics and information desk in the entrance hall on a rotating schedule.
Work content and methods are continuously developed – perfect for someone who is structured, creative, and wants to help improve the organization. You will actively contribute to a positive work environment alongside us.
Your office will be at one of our outpatient clinics in our newly built and modern psychiatric facility in Kalmar. Organizationally, you will belong to a relatively new team of 16 medical secretaries spread throughout the psychiatric house. As part of a newly started team, your contribution will make a difference as we collectively continue to build a culture of community, engagement, and knowledge exchange.
Working hours are Monday through Friday.
About You
We are seeking a trained medical secretary. Work experience in administration and the Cosmic journal system is meritorious. Further, training in diagnosis classification is meritorious.
You have a good ability to create positive relationships and enjoy close collaboration with colleagues from different professional groups. In the role of medical secretary, you will encounter many people, and your professional approach with genuine service-mindedness will contribute to a positive experience for everyone you meet.

Your Future Workplace
You will work in newly built and modern facilities specifically adapted for specialist psychiatry. These premises promote efficient coordination within psychiatric operations and offer a pleasant environment with spacious staff areas and a beautiful view of Kalmar Sound and Öland. We are a clinic with 37 care beds and approximately 230 employees, including 5 specialist training doctors and 15 specialist physicians. We have three inpatient wards, three outpatient clinics, and three treatment units.
