The Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders and serves patients of all ages.
We have a well-developed operation that includes digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, round-the-clock care, and nationally specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today, we have nearly 280 employees. Our outpatient and day care services are located in Södermalm, while our round-the-clock care is at Danderyd Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:
As a medical secretary, you are an extremely important part of the clinic. Your responsibilities include not only documentation in TakeCare but also managing referrals, reporting diagnosis and procedure codes, handling patient cancellations and rescheduling, reception duties, telephone service, and cash management. The role may also require you to assist with other routine office tasks. We expect you to enjoy having varied tasks and providing excellent service. We work in teams, with an adult team, a child team, and a reception team. This position will belong to both the child and adult teams, with an approximate distribution of 50% in each team.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary/healthcare administrator. Previous experience in psychiatry is considered an asset. You should have good computer skills, preferably with knowledge of the TakeCare journal system, TeleQ, and the Office suite, as well as other systems. LSA training is advantageous.
The role includes the introduction and training of new employees, which means you need to have good pedagogical skills and excellent proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You appreciate having varied tasks and can prioritize and organize your work effectively, taking significant responsibility for your assignments. Personal suitability will be given considerable weight.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language at a level corresponding to C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
