As a medical secretary, you will transcribe dictations in the Cosmic medical record system, schedule patient appointments, oversee availability, and perform other administrative tasks that ensure smooth unit operations. As a team member, you are a crucial part of the patient's healthcare journey, and we work together around the patient to provide the best possible care. The work environment is characterized by a good atmosphere and an open climate. We view collaboration within the clinic as a success factor; we help each other and do it together.
The position is full-time and starts immediately or by agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
About You
We are seeking a qualified medical secretary/healthcare administrator. We prefer candidates with professional experience and familiarity with the Cosmic medical record system. As a person, you are committed, service-oriented, and have an excellent approach towards colleagues and patients. Since you will work in a team, strong collaborative skills are crucial, and you must be able to prioritize tasks and recognize what needs to be done. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Your Future Workplace
The Medical Reception is part of the Medical Clinic. The operation encompasses several specialties including rheumatology, neurology, gastroenterology, lung/allergy, diabetes, endocrinology, and hematology. A large number of patients visit the different sections daily for consultations, tests, or treatments. The reception staff includes nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, podiatrists, and a foot therapist.
Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. It is an acute care hospital with specialist care, maternity, and delivery services.
