Unilabs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director for Breast Radiology with specialist expertise in Breast Radiology for our operations. In this key role, you will have the opportunity to combine clinical leadership with strategic development work – in a company that is a leader in diagnostics in Europe. You will be a medical leader with overall responsibility for ensuring medical quality, clinical governance, and development within your specialty. You will lead, support, and inspire medical teams while closely collaborating with operational functions, commercial teams, and our global organization. You will be a key person in our management team and the medical voice in strategic decisions, innovation, and quality improvement. The position involves, among other things: - Leading the medical specialty area of Breast Radiology in Sweden and participating in national and international medical forums. - Ensuring clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance according to national and international requirements. - Being responsible for clinical guidelines, quality programs, and medical procedures. - Participating in the development of new diagnostic services, innovations, and research collaborations. - Supporting the recruitment, training, and development of medical staff. - Acting as a medical advisor internally to sales and marketing teams, as well as serving as an external contact person for customers, universities, and authorities. We seek a radiologist working in breast diagnostics. We believe you are communicative and responsive to the needs of employees, patients, and referrers. As a person, you are fundamentally secure and, in your work, proactive, initiative-taking, and structured, with an eye for development and improvement. We are looking for someone who: - Is a licensed Radiologist with specialist competence in Breast Radiology. - Has at least 10 years of clinical experience, including a minimum of 5 years in breast radiology. - Has documented leadership experience, preferably from larger healthcare organizations or an international environment. - Is accustomed to working with quality improvement, clinical governance, and regulatory issues. - Has strong communication skills and can build trust with colleagues, partners, and customers. - Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English.
