The Women’s Shelter Nacka Värmdö is a non-profit organization that is independent of religious and political affiliations. We work towards an equal society free from violence and are now seeking an additional team member for our counseling service. We are looking for someone who shares our values and wants to be part of our team!
The responsibilities include:
• Independently conducting structured support conversations with adults
• Acting as a contact person on behalf of the social services, responsible for implementing support measures based on set goals and timeframes
• Providing practical support and, if necessary, accompanying individuals throughout the process towards a life free from violence
• Communicating with authorities and agencies
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker/behavioral scientist or has equivalent qualifications with several years of experience and expertise in violence-related issues. It is important that you have a professional and empathetic approach, are clear in your communication, and can easily collaborate with others. The role also requires a good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Start in the spring term of 2026, 80-100%. Fixed-term employment for 1 year with the possibility of extension.
Additional information: Continuous supervision with a licensed psychotherapist is included in the position.
