JOB DESCRIPTION
Working in disability care in Aneby Municipality means daily facilitating the lives of our clients with various disabilities. The tasks you perform may include different practical duties such as:
- Assisting with laundry, cleaning, and cooking
- Personal hygiene
- Shopping
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments
- Social activities
Some medical tasks may occur following delegation from a nurse.
A job in disability care is varied and stimulating and may involve working both in teams and independently. As an employee, you need to be flexible, responsive, and have a good approach; it is important to be able to work across boundaries and assist other departments as needed. Since the operation is dynamic, you must have the ability to adapt quickly. Working hours include days, evenings, nights, and weekends on a fixed schedule. We have on-call duties, during which you work alone in the operation. As an employee, you will document in our operational system Combine.
QUALIFICATIONS
For our group home (LSS) on Lundmarksgatan, we are now seeking an employee who excels in interacting with clients and enjoys having varied tasks. The needs of the clients are diverse, making this a varied position where you, as an employee, will have the opportunity to participate in the development of both the clients and the operation as a whole.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a trained nursing assistant, support educator, or has studied child and leisure
• Wants to make a difference in our clients' daily lives
• Is confident in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as all communication and documentation occurs in Swedish
• Is responsible, willing to ask for help, and has a strong service orientation
• Enjoys helping others
• Is proactive and brings their own ideas, with a knack for taking initiative
• Can collaborate, is attentive, and enjoys working with others
The position is a part-time role at 80%.
Previous experience working in an LSS group home is an advantage. Personal suitability is of great importance.
