Mechanical Engineer - Västerås

About the Assignment Assignment Period: November 17, 2025 to June 30, 2026. We are seeking a person for our robotics documentation group who will work on developing and adapting technical documentation related to our deliveries. The role involves becoming a crucial link between design, suppliers, and customers, focusing on creating clear and customer-tailored installation and maintenance manuals, as well as compiling comprehensive final documentation for our projects. Work Tasks • Customize installation and maintenance manuals based on project-specific information. • Compile final documentation for customer delivery, including: • Manuals and instructions • Project-specific documentation developed by design departments (mechanical, electrical, automation) • Material certificates, test protocols, and supplier documentation • Ensure documentation meets customer requirements and internal quality standards • Collaborate with various technical disciplines and project managers to collect and structure relevant materials • Support the development of standardized templates and documentation processes as needed Qualifications • Technical educational background, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and documentation across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plant) • Strong experience with structured work and document management • Experience with customer documentation, technical editing, or manual development is meritorious • Knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker is considered a clear advantage • Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written • Precise, self-driven, and able to advance work in close collaboration with others Education and Experience • Civil or university engineering degree, or other technical education with relevant experience • 0-2 years of experience in relevant area, or other technical background with at least 10 years of experience in documentation or similar work
