We are currently seeking a Measurement Technician who wants to contribute to ensuring the highest quality of products and components through advanced measurement technology and analysis. Information about the position: Professionals Nord is looking for a measurement technician on behalf of our client; this assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client for 2004 hours (approximately 12 months). The intention is for you to potentially become directly employed by them in the long term, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. Job Responsibilities: As a Measurement Technician at our client, you will be responsible for ensuring that materials and components meet the company’s high quality standards. You will work with the programming, use, and development of measuring equipment (CMM) as well as support the organization with measurement technical expertise. The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, purchasing, and R&D to jointly drive improvement work and ensure the quality of both incoming materials and manufactured components. Examples of tasks may include: • Perform quality inspections of materials and ensure they meet the company’s requirements through measurement technical expertise • Continuously work with the inspection and analysis of sample parts • Calibrate measuring equipment and tools used for measurements • Support functions such as production, quality, development, and projects with measurements and analyses • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and R&D to improve the quality of purchased and manufactured materials • Follow the company's values regarding safety, quality, and responsibility • Challenges and Opportunities The role requires a high analytical ability, precision, and integrity. You need to be able to manage several parallel tasks while contributing to continuous improvements within the department. The work involves broad contacts with different functions and requires good communication skills as well as the ability to work diplomatically and solution-oriented. We are looking for someone who: • Has a university degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field • Has at least three years of experience in a similar role within measurement technology • Possesses technical skills to understand and address quality challenges in mechanical components • Has experience with measurement software such as Quindos, PC-DMIS, or Calypso • Has good knowledge in reading technical drawings and preferably experience with CAD and SolidWorks • Is independent, analytical, and meticulous with a genuine interest in technology and quality • Has good teamwork skills and a practical, "hands-on" approach • Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written START: By agreement SCOPE: Full-time CITY: Västerås SELECTION: Ongoing CONTACT: Sara Glennhammar, [email protected] Apply for the position below by filling in your information and attaching documents.
