Measurement Engineer for our Surveying and GIS Department

We are seeking a driven and meticulous Measurement Engineer for our measurement services. As a Measurement Engineer with us, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate measurement and mapping services. You will work both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues. About the Position: As a Measurement Engineer, you will perform measurements, produce new construction maps and base maps, and carry out and document site staking and position measurements. We work on assignments from both internal and external clients and collaborate with other departments, primarily within the Community Development Office. Cases are distributed within the group, and you will work very independently in the field. Our workplace is located in Kungsängen. We use total stations and GPS and have begun implementing drone use and mapping in ESPA, and we work in Topocad. Measurement Engineers are responsible for and administer the systems and equipment used. We are seeking candidates who: - Have relevant education in measurement, geodesy, land surveying, or similar field, or have other education deemed equivalent by the employer. - Have previous experience working as a Measurement Engineer. - Have good computer skills. - Have experience working with CAD programs. - Hold a B driver's license. - Have good knowledge and experience using total stations; GPS is a requirement. Experience working as a Measurement Engineer in municipal measurement services is meritorious. As we have begun implementing drone use and ESPA mapping, knowledge and experience in these areas are advantageous. We place great importance on personal qualities. You need to be service-oriented, have a sense of quality, and the ability to work both carefully and independently, as well as in a team.
