We are looking for a new team member for Geoinfo Mittskåne, a collaboration between Höör Municipality and Hörby Municipality. The work location is in Höör, but duties will also involve working in Hörby Municipality.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Your mission is to plan, execute, and document mapping, measurement, and calculation work in the two municipalities of Höör and Hörby.
You will work with measurements and preparation of base materials for, among other things, base maps, new construction maps, and location control certificates. You will stake out buildings and perform measurements in preparation for design work.
To provide excellent service and quality results to our clients, we focus on efficiency, quality, and accuracy.
You are expected to independently plan, prioritize, and execute assignments.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
We are looking for candidates with an education in cartography and measurement technology, such as a YH/KY program, university degree, or other training/experience that the employer deems equivalent. You should have solid knowledge of measurements, processing survey data, and map production.
You have the ability and interest to develop new technologies and methods pertaining to modern measurement techniques, such as GNSS and drones.
Practical experience in municipal mapping, measurement, and GIS operations is required. Experience with ArcGIS, SBG Geo, and Leica instruments, as well as knowledge of property law concerning cadastral proceedings and archival research, will be considered advantageous.
You can express yourself well and have proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
