About Stage Smarts
Stage Smarts AB is a Swedish technology company that develops and manufactures advanced power distribution systems for stage, studio, and event industries – both in Sweden and internationally. Our products are used by some of the world's largest productions and are known for their high safety, reliability, and smart monitoring functions.
Production takes place in close collaboration between our development department in southern Sweden and our factory in Arboga, where we now need to strengthen our team.
About the Role
Due to a significant increase in order volume, we are now seeking a Material Planner / Purchaser for a fixed-term assignment of 3-6 months, with good opportunities for permanent employment.
The position is comprehensive and combines material planning, purchasing, and inventory management. You will be an important part of a small, dedicated team where everyone helps each other to ensure smooth production – from order to final delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Material planning based on production schedules and customer orders
• Operational purchasing of components, cable assemblies, and materials
• Supplier contacts, ordering, and delivery monitoring
• Goods reception and registration in Monitor G5
• Material picking and preparation for production
• Packaging and customer delivery
• Ongoing inventory management and stocktaking
• Ensuring correct inventory balance and item structure in Monitor
• Supporting production preparation and administration as needed
• Actively contributing to improvement of routines and workflows
Qualifications:
• Documented experience with Monitor ERP (G5) – especially Purchasing and Inventory Modules
• Practical experience in material planning, purchasing, and/or inventory management in manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of production flows, items, BOMs, and logistics
• Structured, meticulous, and experienced in working independently
• Swedish and English – both spoken and written
Preferred:
• Experience in electrical cabinet production or assembly
• Knowledge of international supplier chains and freight forwarders
