ABOUT THE POSITION
Our client is a global defense and security company active in aerospace, land, and marine defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. As a Material Coordinator, you will support production by being responsible for follow-up, forecasting, and ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time. You will have a holistic perspective of production and work with requirements specification and have decision-making authority in your proactive work to ensure an efficient production chain.
Your tasks will include:
• Monitoring material status throughout the entire flow
• Specifying actions for delivery deviations from production and procurement
• Deciding internal prioritization for material needs and analyzing trends and causes of material shortages
• Ensuring all flows are synchronized by optimizing conditions for critical production articles through proactive work
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
• Have a college or vocational degree in planning, logistics, production procurement, or equivalent area, or corresponding professional experience
• Have a good understanding of production flows
• Thrive in an independent role where you drive your own processes, make decisions, and specify actions for others when needed
• Have good Excel skills and experience working in business systems such as IFS
• Have good Swedish and English skills in both speech and writing, as both languages are used daily
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability during recruitment. To perform well in this role, you must be communicative and comfortable in a position with contact with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. Furthermore, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to prioritize tasks in a complex environment. Previous experience in production operations and/or material management is considered meritorious.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security protection regulations. Positions where our client has security classification requirements may, where applicable, require specific citizenship.
This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
