We are looking for a Material and Procurement Manager for an Authority within the power industry.
The location is Stockholm.
This is a consulting assignment.
The position is full-time.
The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires a high degree of flexibility and teamwork.
**Assignment**
As a Material and Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient flow of materials and spare parts to the operations. The role encompasses both operational and strategic tasks within inventory, warehousing, and procurement. You will work closely with internal functions and external suppliers to optimize costs, delivery accuracy, and quality.
**Responsibilities**
- Receiving and handling incoming deliveries
- Forklift operation and internal transportation of materials
- Delivery and distribution of spare parts and materials to internal customers
- Procurement of spare parts/materials and communication with suppliers
- Preparation of request for quotations and follow-up
- Ongoing inventory and stock management of the warehouse
- Management of balance and item data in the maintenance system IFS
- Responsibility for optimizing costs, delivery terms, and supplier relationships
- Ensuring quality, risk management, and sustainable purchasing choices

**Requirements (Mandatory)**
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Forklift license A and B. A valid driver's license (B) or AM qualification is required.
- Strong computer skills as you will be working daily in the maintenance system IFS.
- Experience in strategic and operational procurement.
- Experience in supplier negotiations.
- Experience negotiating with international suppliers.
- Experience leading and driving procurement projects from start to finish.
- Experience in procurement within production or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of inventory optimization and demand planning.
- Knowledge of cost-saving initiatives and supplier development.
