The Assignment
We are seeking a Machine Operator for our client in Kumla, active in the printing industry. As a machine operator, you will work with printing presses or die-cutting machines, responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring the presses. You are a solution-oriented person who ensures that both quality requirements and efficiency are met.
Examples of Work Duties
• Prepare, set up, and operate offset printing presses
• Refill materials
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of machines
• Follow quality, environmental, and hygiene procedures
• Reporting of deviations
• Improvement work
The work is currently on a 2-shift schedule but may increase to 3-shifts during periods, which means you need to be flexible for day, evening, and night shifts.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone with a technical interest and experience as a machine operator. Having a background in graphic design and experience as a print worker is highly meritorious. A personal technical interest with good experience in mechanics and fixing things is a plus.
You are a practical and solution-oriented person who always strives for high quality. You have a strong work ethic and contribute positively to the team through your commitment and sense of responsibility. Previous experience as an offset printer is a plus, but we place the most emphasis on the right attitude and willingness to learn. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
