About the Position We are currently seeking a Machine Operator/Setup Technician in the plastics industry for one of our customers just outside Värnamo! The ideal candidate should be located in the local area, as the position is intended to transition to a permanent employment after the initial hiring period. The workplace offers a modern and pleasant facility. They extrude plastic products for the general industry and medical technology, delivering to customers worldwide. A growing company now seeking a skilled and dedicated setup technician who wants to take on the challenge. Your primary tasks will include rigging, material changes, and operating tools in various machines for plastic parts manufacturing. You will receive a clear and thorough introduction with a long-term plan to become independent. The work is highly varied, and you will later be responsible for launching new articles, requiring your own drive, accountability, and solution-oriented approach. As a person, you are meticulous, efficient, and quality-focused. You have an eye for detail, enjoy working at a high pace, and strive to provide customers with the best possible quality. The work involves both individual and group tasks. Work Hours: Shift work, starting with day shifts initially. Start: Immediate. Your Profile Requirements: • Experience with extrusion of hoses/profiles • Good knowledge of process technology and material science • Strong mathematical and measurement skills for performing necessary calculations • Excellent Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing We seek someone who is responsible, goal-oriented, flexible, positive, organized, and has good collaboration skills, as the work takes place at our customer sites.
