Location: Umeå Start: Immediately or by agreement Assignment Length: Consulting assignment until 2026-06-30 About the Role: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on designing and developing customer-specific solutions. You will be part of a team that takes products from concept stage to industrialization. The role involves close collaboration with various functions such as production, procurement, and suppliers to ensure high quality and cost-effective solutions. Example Duties: * Lead and participate in mechanical design activities from idea to finished product. * Develop technical solutions for customized products. * Drive technical dialogues and collaborate with internal and external parties. * Contribute to improvement work and innovation. Who Are We Looking For? You are curious and enjoy taking initiative. You feel comfortable working independently and have the ability to build trust and create networks across different functions. With an open mind for new innovative working methods, you gain energy from working closely with customers and developing to meet their needs. We Are Seeking Someone Who Has: * Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or similar. * At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design. * Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
