Bilfinger Maintenance currently has over 300 employees, operating from Helsingborg in the south to Gävle in the north. **About the Role** As a Machinist, you will be part of the team ensuring that Bilfinger's clients' facilities operate as they should, avoiding unplanned factory shutdowns, and performing service, repairs, and project work. Your responsibilities will include preventive and corrective maintenance at Bilfinger's client in Helsingborg, Kemira AB, as well as participating in renovations and new installations. The work will take place both in the process facility and within the area's workshops. Your tasks will further involve supporting the operation with ongoing machine maintenance, repairs, and machining of mechanical spare parts. You will handle both planned maintenance and more urgent tasks based on production needs and status. This includes producing customizable spare parts, such as mechanical shafts, pump kits, and valves, through turning and milling. You will work from drawings with various angles and manually adjust the machines for turning and milling at different speeds. The role entails a varied workload with frequent changes. **Main Responsibilities:** - Setup and adjustment of manual machines - Turning & Milling of various customized mechanical spare parts using manual machines - Participation in renovations and new installations - Planning and preparation of upcoming jobs during production - Possible installation and assembly work as needed - Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical machines and spare parts **About You** You are a person with some years of experience in maintenance and repair work, who is proactive, independent, and possesses good collaborative skills. You need to have a solid understanding of manual work with lathes for producing mechanical spare parts. It does not have to have been your primary job, but you must have performed these tasks and have a good understanding of technical drawings that enable you to produce customized mechanical machine parts. Experience with milling, welding, and general mechanical work is advantageous! To thrive in this position, you should also be proactive and have a strong ability to work independently. The role involves significant customer contact, so it is important that you have good collaborative skills and feel confident in your communication abilities. Since the work is carried out in the process industry, it is also essential that you work in an analytical, precise, and risk-aware manner. It is a plus if you enjoy challenges and problem-solving. To succeed in the role, we believe you have: - A good understanding of technical drawings and measurement techniques - A good understanding of manual turning of mechanical parts - Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair work - Ability to work independently as well as good collaborative skills - Familiarity with taking responsibility and working with frequently varying tasks. In addition, the following is required: - Experience in industrial maintenance and repair work - Good computer skills - A valid driver's license (B) - Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written **Preferred Qualifications:** - Knowledge of bearings and seals - Experience with the repair of pumps, fans, and electric motors - Welding skills **Additional Information** Start: As agreed Location: Helsingborg Scope: Full-time Working Hours: Daytime Salary: As agreed Employment Type: Consulting assignment via Emploid for 6 months, with the possibility of extension and takeover by the client.
