Marketing and Information Manager with a Focus on Social Media

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be involved in developing Västerås. A warm welcome to us! **Your Responsibilities** We are now looking for a substitute for our colleague for approximately one year, starting in February 2026. You will be employed 100% by the Traffic and Permitting Unit, where your working time will be divided equally between the unit (50%) and Västerås Parking AB as well as Västerås Strategic Properties AB (50%). For the companies, you will plan and develop strategies for social media. You will create and publish content, analyze results, and develop campaigns that strengthen brand awareness and contribute to business goals. You will be responsible for websites and marketing activities, ensuring that properties, products, and services are marketed in a creative and effective manner. Within the unit, you will contribute creativity, strategy, and planning to various communication efforts that highlight and clarify our mission. You will ensure that information is accurate, accessible, and tailored to target audiences, both in writing and in verbal communication, for example, during site visits. You will have dedicated colleagues and communicators with specialized expertise in their areas to support you. Your role will also include administration, contact with the public, customers, and suppliers, as well as participation in various projects. **Your Qualifications** We are looking for someone with a high school education and several years of experience in marketing. A degree in social media marketing, marketing, or sales is advantageous. Your experience and expertise give you confidence in planning and executing marketing on social media, and you adapt content to different target groups and channels. You are accustomed to analyzing results that you translate into implementation plans to achieve set goals. It motivates you to work with development and improvement efforts where you contribute innovative thinking, proactivity, and results. You think strategically and have a holistic perspective in your work. To succeed in this role, you are proactive and possess strong self-leadership, driving your projects and issues forward.
