Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a new Property Manager for the Housing Section within the Property Management Unit at City Properties. The Property Management Unit is responsible for the management and development of Malmö City's properties for schools, childcare, elderly care, social services, offices, and cultural and recreational facilities. The unit's mission is to provide suitable premises and outdoor environments while maintaining the functional values of the properties. Approximately 80 employees work within the unit, divided into 6 sections that manage around 600 properties. The intended position is part of the housing section, which manages elderly care facilities, LSS, and 400 condominium apartments.
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing the operation and maintenance of outdoor environments to ensure the functionality of the properties is upheld. Through your budget and in collaboration with users and contractors, you will plan upcoming maintenance measures. Your responsibilities will also include providing advisory support regarding outdoor environment issues to tenants, as well as in new construction and renovation projects. In the role of Property Manager, you will represent the property management at meetings with operations, internal meetings, and forums concerning outdoor environments within Malmö City. You will be involved in collaboratively developing the management of outdoor environments at City Properties and enhancing the property portfolio regarding long-term sustainable outdoor environments.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a relevant higher education, such as a landscape engineer, or other training in the operation and maintenance of outdoor environments or land development that is deemed equivalent. You should also have at least 1 year of work experience in the field. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required for the position, as well as a valid driver's license (B). Experience with LOU and reviewing drawings and construction documents is considered an asset. It is also advantageous if you have worked as a contractor in the industry.

You should understand how to work in an organization that is goal-oriented and influenced by political decisions and objectives.
About the Workplace
City Properties' 180 employees manage Malmö City's properties for schools, childcare, elderly care, and culture. The portfolio amounts to over 1.8 million square meters and generates approximately 2 billion SEK annually. Our primary task is to meet the needs of our space users for well-functioning premises.
The Service Administration is divided into five departments and offers everything from transport services to IT and responding to citizens at Malmö City's contact center. We maintain streets, parks, green spaces, and beaches, manage all of Malmö City's buildings, and ensure that our school students receive good and nutritious food.
