About this role

Do you want to represent some of the world's most iconic brands, Mercedes-Benz and Setra, in the Swedish market? We are looking for a Marketing & Event Coordinator who wants to drive and develop Daimler Buses' marketing, event, and communication operations in Sweden, focusing on both strategy and operational execution. This position is a 1.5-year contract, during which you will be employed as a consultant at OnePartnerGroup. Your role at Daimler Buses As the Marketing & Event Coordinator, you will have overall responsibility for Daimler Buses Sweden's marketing and communication. You will drive, plan, and implement marketing activities for our brands, ensuring that communication maintains high quality and adheres to Daimler Group's guidelines. Your goal is for the message to be conveyed effectively, both digitally and in personal interactions with customers. You will work closely with the Swedish management team, sales department, and HR, as well as collaborate with colleagues at the head office in Germany. The role also involves liaising with external agencies and suppliers regarding production, events, and PR. Examples of tasks: • Develop, monitor, and analyze the local marketing plan and budget. • Coordinate marketing activities and adapt international campaigns to the Swedish market. • Responsible for websites and social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn. • Plan and execute events, trade fairs, sponsorship activities, and press initiatives. • Produce and edit PR materials, press releases, and translations between Swedish, English, and German. • Handle basic financial administration in SAP, such as invoicing and PPR. Who are you? You have a background in marketing or communication and feel at home in a role where you can take responsibility, collaborate broadly, and help build world-class brands. We prefer that you have: • Post-secondary education in marketing, communication, or a similar field. • Several years of experience in marketing. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • A linguistic sensitivity and proficiency in expressing yourself professionally in both Swedish and English. • Experience in digital marketing, web, and social media. • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within Sweden and abroad. • Knowledge of German—this is not a requirement but a strong plus that facilitates collaboration with colleagues in Germany.
