About this role

Land and Property Manager with Expertise in Property Law The Land and Property Unit manages the municipality's land reserve and municipally-owned properties, including land and buildings. We conduct various maintenance projects and handle numerous different contracts. We collaborate with other units within the Urban Development Office, with other offices and companies in the Telge Group, on various land and property-related issues, and provide citizens with answers to different questions. In total, we manage approximately 900 properties. We currently have about ten employees plus a unit manager and want to grow with more managers. We are seeking a junior land and property manager with expertise in property law. We are on a journey where we are building culture, structure, and clarifying our mission - together. Your Responsibilities In the role of land and property manager, you will support the unit in various matters related to contract management, negotiations, and communication. You will collaborate with our property lawyers and property managers and assist in the unit's work with unauthorized land use. Your tasks will also include communicating with leaseholders and other internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, as needed. Depending on your experience and our work distribution, you will also be responsible for other types of investigation, collaboration, or process-related issues. Systematic documentation, case management, and follow-up are also important and common tasks. We also share responsibility for the unit's functional mailbox, where citizens, associations, and companies contact us with various questions. Who Are You? You have documented experience in the property field and property law. You are curious about learning more and contributing to order, equal treatment, and sustainable management in our municipality. You enjoy collaboration and are comfortable meeting and communicating with citizens, both during site visits and via phone calls. You are confident and able to adapt your communication style to different people and situations, and contribute to a friendly and developing work environment. Personal Characteristics: - You need to be organized and have a high ability to work systematically, right through to completion - High collaboration skills, prioritizing the team over the individual, unpretentious, learning, and sharing experiences/questions - Ability to handle parallel processes with unforeseen issues while maintaining overall prioritization - Creating clarity and enjoying finding solutions and ways forward together with colleagues, while taking responsibility and driving tasks to completion. You dare to ask for help when needed Requirements: - Higher education in property law or property management, or an equivalent education and experience as assessed by the employer - Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as required in daily work - Computer proficiency, knowledge of MS Office suite, and extensive experience handling digital information - Class B driver's license Meriting Factors: - Legal competence in property law - Knowledge of LOU, PBL, easement rights, and tenancy rights - Familiarity with property systems - Public authority experience and working in a politically governed organization - Case management systems/systematics We place great importance on your personal characteristics.
