About this role
We are now seeking driven and engaged leaders with practical knowledge of Giraffe xA, Integration, and Verification to lead and develop groups of highly competent engineers.
Your Role
As a section manager with us, you will lead approximately 10 of our system integrators/verifiers. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for areas such as integration, verification, and acceptance testing for our customer deliveries of the Giraffe xA product.
You will also have primary responsibility for, or contribute to, several areas, including:
* Assignments within delivery projects
* Assignments within service projects
* Operation, maintenance, and development of our system rigs
* Development of customer-facing and internal operations
* Marketing activities in our system rigs
* Business economics and budgeting
You will also be part of the System Design Giraffe xA management team, where we collectively share tasks, support each other, and contribute our strengths to the development of our business.
System Design Giraffe xA is part of the Surface Sensor Solutions Business Unit, which has global responsibility for Saab's land and sea radar systems. The responsibility includes everything from marketing, sales, and product management to R&D, integration, verification, and after-market activities.
We have offices around the world, with the largest located in Gothenburg. Our assignments and challenges require close collaboration with other section managers in Integration and Verification.

As a leader, you have the ability to organize and prioritize, make decisions, delegate, and lead with a holistic perspective. We believe you are solution and results-oriented, possess significant willpower, and are challenged by working in a demanding environment. You are a pronounced team player with an interest in people and understand the importance of building cross-functional collaboration with other functions within the organization. You have an interest in developing people and the business.
For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience in integration and verification, customer contacts, and support operations. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience working with radar technology or within the defense industry and armed forces.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
