Spånga Comprehensive School is a municipal school with approximately 500 students in grades 7-9.
We are located in Solhem, a pleasant area near Spånga center with excellent communications – only 12 minutes from Stockholm Central Station. Here, you will be met by a welcoming environment where both students and staff thrive and develop together. We offer a national recruitment specialized education in mathematics and science in each grade, a group for newly arrived students, and a special educational group. The Spånga-Tensta regional special educational group is also attached to the school.

Here, you will work in an operation with a high proportion of qualified teachers, organized into three teams that collaborate closely with an experienced and competent student health team consisting of counselors, school nurse, career counselor, and four special education teachers/teachers. In each team, there is also a study pedagogue who serves as a full-time mentor and actively works with value-based issues, well-being, and promoting students' welfare and learning environment together with qualified and engaged colleagues.
The school's management team consists of a principal, three deputy principals, and an administrative manager, which ensures strong and well-coordinated leadership. Six lead teachers with responsibility for different development areas contribute to continuous pedagogical development and the school's quality work.

Job Responsibilities
In the role of teacher, you will contribute to providing students with the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching adapted to each student's needs and conditions, and participate in investigations, action programs, and their follow-up.
You will work closely with your colleagues throughout the school day – sometimes in your own teaching, sometimes in dual teaching or as a resource – and together you will create a safe, clear, and supportive environment for students.
Qualifications
We would like you to have:
At least two years of experience working with students in need of special support.
Broad subject eligibility, with a focus on science-mathematics and merit in technology.
Knowledge or education in neuropsychiatric functional variations (NPF).
Experience working in special educational groups.
Special education competence, preferably as a special education teacher or special education specialist.
Skills
You have a good ability to:
Conduct instruction based on research and proven experience.
Work with special support and adaptations.
Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Use pedagogical methods that support students with special needs.
