Your Role
As a Measurement Technician, you will, together with the rest of the department, contribute to maintaining the right quality of Saab's incoming articles. In your role, you may also support with your measurement technical expertise in connection with deviations or investigations within production. You will also drive measurement technical issues in various forums, which means you have the opportunity to influence and point out development opportunities and contribute to improvements.
Main responsibilities in the role:
* Program and conduct measurements in measuring machines
* Measurements with hand-held measuring tools
* Document completed inspections
* Administer quality documentation in the business system IFS
* Manage deviations
Visits and measurements at suppliers may also occur.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, analytical, and flexible. The work requires a responsible, persistent individual who can act based on daily priorities. You enjoy working in a team as well as independently. To succeed in this role, you should have good communication skills as the position requires daily contact with various functions within Saab. We value a humble personality that is open to change and development.
Desired Competencies:
* High school education with a technical focus
* At least 2 years of experience working with measuring machines and hand-held measuring tools
* Good knowledge of reading technical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
* Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English
* Valid driver's license (B)
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
