Measurement Technician to Motala Verkstad

**About the Position** We are currently seeking an experienced measurement technician with expert knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings. In this role, you will work closely with production, quality functions, and engineering, with a clear responsibility for driving measurement-related issues throughout the manufacturing process. **Job Description/Responsibilities:** · Drive measurement-related issues during request for quotation (RFQ) and order reviews · Provide support in reading technical drawings during manufacturing · Train staff in drawing interpretation as well as form and positional tolerances · Further educate inspectors in the use of measuring machines and measuring arms · Offline programming of measuring machines and measuring arms · Participate in the development of measurement protocols · Conduct measurements using measuring arms and measuring machines · Calibration of measuring instruments · Actively participate in continuous improvements · Contribute to efficient resource utilization of energy and raw materials · You have the authority to stop production or delivery in case of quality deviations. **Location:** Motala **Scope:** Full-time **Working Hours:** Daytime, Monday – Friday **Start Date:** As agreed – preferably as soon as possible! **About the Company** Welcome to Motala Verkstad – a company with over 200 years of innovation and technical advancements. You have experience programming measuring equipment offline and are accustomed to working with high precision in technically demanding environments. You are communicative, pedagogical, and have a knack for explaining technical contexts to others. Naturally, you are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in training or mentoring colleagues, as well as experience working in heavy or advanced industry.
