About the Position
Our client is seeking a measurement technician for their machining workshop who wants to work in an environment where precision, quality, and collaboration are in focus. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CMM machines to ensure high accuracy in production. You will also adapt materials and perform control measurements to ensure that various components fit together perfectly. After each measurement, you will carefully document the results to maintain traceability and quality throughout the process.
You will become an important part of a small team of five to six people responsible for inspection and measurement technology. The business consists of approximately thirty employees in total. Together, they work to create mechanical products of the highest quality for the aerospace and defense industry. Here, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to exciting development projects and prototype manufacturing for the development department. The machining workshop consists of approximately 30 people and includes milling, spark erosion, grinding, surface treatment, hardening, and non-destructive testing (NDT). You will handle materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium.
As a measurement technician, you will have a varied workday where you plan your own work while collaborating closely with your colleagues. You will alternate between series production and development projects and work in close contact with both production technicians and external suppliers.

At the same time, you enjoy solving problems and like to find new, smart ways to improve work.
To be a good fit for the role, we believe you are communicative and can convey information clearly and simply. You have a respectful and open approach towards others, appreciate collaboration, and are motivated by working towards common goals. You are comfortable asking for help or asking questions when something is unclear and are happy to provide feedback that develops both yourself and the team. Previous experience as a machine operator is meritorious for the role. We prefer candidates with good knowledge of blueprint reading and metal processing. You should be fluent in both Swedish and English, which is important for understanding instructions and technical documentation.
