Olsbergs develops, designs, and manufactures electro-hydraulic control systems for mobile machine applications and is a world leader in control systems for truck cranes and forestry cranes. Our control systems are characterized by excellent control and coordination properties, highly appreciated by crane operators, with over 20,000 systems installed worldwide. Behind this high performance lies more than 40 years of continuous development work and around 30 patented innovations. All manufacturing takes place in our own factories in Eksjö and Vallentuna, ensuring complete control over the entire production chain, from the smallest detail to finished systems. About the Role
We continue to expand and are now seeking a dedicated Measurement and Quality Technician with a strong interest in precision, processes, and teamwork. In this key role, you will ensure that our manufactured components meet the highest quality standards. You will work operationally with measurement technology and analyze measurement data and deviations to identify and implement changes that prevent errors and strengthen our quality focus.
The role is broad and varied, with significant interaction with production, R&D, and suppliers. An important part of your work will be to drive quality improvements and develop our measurement routines to optimize process safety.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Measurement Technology
• Measurement & Control: Responsible for measuring, controlling, and approving components according to drawing requirements.
• Calibration & Equipment: Manage calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment to ensure traceability.
Quality Technology
• Process Improvement: Actively participate in improvement work by analyzing measurement data and deviations to propose and implement actions.
• Deviation Management: Document and drive cases related to internal and external deviations in collaboration with Production Technology.
We are looking for someone who is technically interested in machines and processes, is meticulous, quality-conscious, and committed.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
• Technical education or equivalent experience, with a focus on mechanical measurement technology and tolerances.
• Experience with measuring equipment.
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and geometries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you also have:
• Experience working in a larger manufacturing company.
• Experience working on projects.
• Knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
