The Meal Organization in Nora is seeking part-time substitutes

Do you want to make a difference with every meal? Come and work with us in Nora Municipality's meal organization – where every meal counts! We are looking for individuals who want to contribute to good food and happy guests, and who wish to be part of an engaged team that prepares and serves nutritious meals to children and the elderly. The nutrition unit consists of about 15 production and reception kitchens – ranging from small preschools to larger school units and nursing homes. We actively work with sustainability, food waste, and cooking from scratch. Our goal is for every meal to be delicious, nutritious, and contribute to comfort and health. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will step in as needed as a substitute in our kitchens within preschool, school, and elderly care. The tasks vary but may include: - Cooking and preparation - Serving and dishwashing - Cleaning and hygiene routines - Collaboration with colleagues and meetings with guests QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant education in the field or previous experience working in production and reception kitchens. Other education or experience that the employer deems relevant may also be considered. It is advantageous if you have: - Documented work experience in kitchens, cafés, or serving - Experience in food handling - Good computer skills, particularly within the Office suite You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, so that you can: - Read instructions and safety regulations - Communicate with colleagues and others in the organization - Carry out written documentation A valid driver's license (B) and access to your own vehicle are required, as work may occur at several of our facilities outside of central Nora. OTHER Background checks will be conducted. Nora Municipality is located in the northern part of Örebro County, between the lakes and forests of Bergslagen.
