About this role
Åmål Municipality is seeking a communicator with a focus on digital communication. Do you want to work broadly with communication, create engaging content, and contribute to showcasing all the great work being done in Åmål Municipality? Then this could be the role for you!
What we offer
With us, you get more than just a job – you have the opportunity to develop in a work environment where ideas are welcomed and initiative is encouraged.
In our unit, you will meet an engaged team in an open and creative work environment where ideas and commitment are valued.
You will be part of the Business and Communications Unit, which is responsible for the municipality's internal and external communication, brand building, business issues, and event development. We have a broad mandate – from strategic communication to concrete content production.
Your mission
Åmål Municipality is looking for a communicator with high drive, a sense for digital communication, and storytelling.
As a communicator with us, you will be a key person in showcasing Åmål Municipality and our work. Through content in our social channels and on the web, you will make the municipality's work visible, understandable, and inspiring – for residents, business owners, and visitors.
Together with your colleagues in the unit, you will work to develop communication both internally and externally, build the Åmål brand, and create pride both internally and among our residents.
Who you are
You thrive in an environment where you can switch between strategy and practice. You are curious, creative, and have a strong sense of language and tone. For this role, we highly value personal competencies – especially your ability to collaborate, prioritize, and think innovatively.
We place great importance on personal and social competencies – engagement, curiosity, and the ability to build relationships are essential parts of the work.
