Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's autonomy and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.
About the position
The role of a personal assistant demands a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.
We are currently seeking someone who meets the following criteria:
• Wants to work with a woman in her 30s residing in Nödinge
• Has previous experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Has experience with low-arousal approaches
• Is tolerant of pets, as the client has a dog at home
• Holds a B driver's license
• Has access to a car
It is also an advantage if you:
• Have experience with autism
• Have experience with epilepsy
• Share the client's interests, such as driving, dancing, shopping, drawing, and being outdoors
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Working hours, employment rate, and salary:
The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts," and the position is approximately 25%. The role involves work during daytime and evening hours, every other weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation will be in accordance with collective agreements.
