Welcome to work as an LSS Case Officer in the Social Services Administration! The Social Services Administration, with approximately 1,275 employees, covers five areas of operation. These are regular housing, special housing, LSS and social psychiatry, health care, and short-term accommodations, as well as Management Support. We offer you, among other benefits: • vacation savings • annual working hours • wellness allowance • health-promoting activities • extra vacation days when you turn 40 and 50 • employee and leisure association Pulsen JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In the role of LSS Case Officer, you will primarily work with investigation, assessment, decisions, and follow-up of support services according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). The role also includes handling certain cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL), for example, the housing support service. The work is based on IBIC (Individual's Needs in Center), which means that the focus is always on the individual's resources, needs, and goals. You will work in our operational system LifeCare and maintain close dialogue with individuals applying for services, their relatives, or potential representatives. The investigative work involves gathering and compiling information, conducting home visits or participating in other meetings, and making assessments that form the basis for decisions on support services. As an LSS Case Officer, you are part of the authority's actions, with a strong focus on legal security, user participation, and collaboration with other actors, both within the municipality and with external partners. Monitoring the environment is a natural part of the work, where you stay updated on case law, legislative changes, and current developments in the field. QUALIFICATIONS You hold a university degree in social work, social care, or another qualification considered relevant by the employer. Good knowledge of current legislation is required, and experience in case handling in the area is an advantage. You have good computer skills and proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You can adapt your communication according to the individuals you meet in your work and convey information in a clear and respectful manner. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work independently and structurally, with good prioritization skills. You exhibit a pleasant demeanor, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to changes. You take the initiative, find solutions, and contribute to a positive work environment.
