About this role
Are you a structured and communicative person who enjoys varied work and multiple ongoing tasks? We offer you a stimulating assignment with significant responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact.
About the Workplace
The Freedom of Choice Act (LOV) means that the Care and Nursing Administration competes parts of its operations where people can choose who provides their support and care. By applying LOV, both municipal and private providers can offer their services, always maintaining the same high standards of quality and treatment.
The Freedom of Choice Act (LOV) is a political decision, and in the City of Helsingborg and the Care and Nursing Administration, this includes daily activities, home care, and home services. The role will be part of a group working with purchasing and procurement.
What We Offer
We offer you a varied, responsible, and stimulating job with opportunities for personal development. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious. As an employee, you receive a wellness allowance of 3,000 kronor per year.
Job Responsibilities
As a LOV Coordinator, you are the hub of the administration's LOV work. The role includes processing applications from companies wanting to participate in LOV, serving as the administration's point of contact for these companies, and responsible for planning and implementing follow-ups. You also ensure that administrative routines around the LOV system are in place and followed.
The assignment also includes support for marketing and publishing participating companies. You represent the department in both internal and external networks and drive collaboration on issues requiring dialogue and coordination.
You will call and lead collaboration meetings, develop and analyze monthly statistics and, when needed, at the request of other municipal functions. You will also present results, analyses, and statistics to the Care and Nursing Committee.
Furthermore, you are responsible for updating request documents and agreements related to LOV and investigating feedback and incidents concerning private providers.
The assignment may change based on organizational needs.
Qualifications
To succeed and thrive in the LOV Coordinator role, you need to have:
• University education in public administration, social sciences, social work, or another relevant education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Several years of experience in administration and service.
You are a proficient user of digital tools and can quickly adapt to new systems.
Previous experience with procurement, tendering, and contract follow-up is meritorious. Experience working in a politically governed organization is also advantageous.
Your Personal Qualities are Important to Us
You are analytical and can identify the core of complex problems and propose solutions. You have a positive and respectful approach, even in challenging situations, and create a sense of security for those you encounter.
You are communicative with a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, adapting to the recipient and situation. You are independent, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the courage to make independent decisions. You plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently, ensure tasks are completed on time, and follow up on results.
You collaborate effectively with different professionals and stakeholders. It is crucial that you act in a way that builds trust and can establish and maintain good relationships.
