Coordinator for Social Intervention Group
The Social Intervention Group is part of the social services' open care that primarily targets youth aged 12-20. We offer assessed interventions including family treatment, youth housing, social intervention group, and substance abuse treatment at MiniMaria, conducted in collaboration with the region. Most employees have their workplace at Holmfastvägen 31 in Södertälje. As a Coordinator in the Social Intervention Group, your workplace will also be partially located in Södertälje Police Station.
Your Responsibilities
As a coordinator in the social intervention group, you work with young people to prevent and hinder the establishment of criminality as a lifestyle. The work involves having a coordinating responsibility for interventions and working with support, motivation, and therapeutic conversations with youth and their families. You will work in close collaboration with the police authority. You will be part of a larger open care group with different treatment approaches where you support each other in various interventions. The position also involves consulting and supporting colleagues and other actors regarding youth and criminality. Some evening shifts are included.
Who Are You?
Requirements:
- Social work degree or equivalent education deemed relevant for the assignment
- Experience in social work with youth
- Class B driver's license
- Good knowledge of common digital tools
- Security clearance approval since the workplace is partially located in the police station
- Ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing
Meriting:
- Experience working with Combine
- Experience with official authority work
- Experience with treatment programs targeting the specific demographic
