About this role

Do you want to work in an international and growing organization where you can combine payroll, HR, and labor law in a central role? We are currently seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist on behalf of our client in Flen. In this position, you will be a key person in ensuring accurate payroll processes and providing support to both managers and employees on HR-related matters. About the Role As a Payroll & HR Specialist, you will be responsible for the payroll process together with our external payroll partner for approximately 200 employees in a manufacturing environment. You will also handle issues related to employment, contracts, benefits, absences, and personnel data. The role includes both operational and strategic elements, allowing you to develop within the HR field in a dynamic environment focused on development and improvement. You will be the primary contact for both employees and management on-site in Flen and actively participate in collaboration with trade unions as well as in local HR projects. Your Main Responsibilities • Ensure the payroll process and quality assurance of payroll data • Ensure that information regarding employment, benefits, and changes is reported correctly • Manage the entire employment cycle – from onboarding to termination • Support managers in HR issues such as labor law, rehabilitation, leave, and performance • Prepare and participate in union negotiations and collaboration meetings • Create and administer employment contracts and other HR documentation • Participate in the development and implementation of HR processes and policies • Follow up and plan training initiatives We are looking for someone who has • Post-secondary education in payroll, HR, or equivalent experience • At least 2–3 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably with experience in collective-bargained positions and shift work • Good knowledge of Swedish labor law and collective agreements (employees and workers) • Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday and Promark • Familiarity with union contacts and negotiations • Proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written • Detail-oriented, service-minded, and confident in your professional role We Offer You will be part of a dedicated HR team within a global organization that is in an exciting phase of development.
