About this role

You want to make a difference and be part of shaping the future. With us, you will gain trust, development opportunities, and knowledgeable colleagues. We work together and are convinced that everyone wants and can learn. The core operation of the School Administration is education within primary schools, adapted primary schools, and after-school activities. The operation encompasses 12,000 students and has a budget of approximately 2 billion SEK. The finance function is responsible for the School Administration's accounting, budgeting, and follow-up, as well as local planning. We offer a developing, collaborative, and varied work environment in an organization that works every day to create good conditions for our students to succeed in school. In addition to educational and pedagogical activities, the areas of responsibility include student health, quality & development, HR, administration, finance, food & facility management, and communication. Local Investigator at the School Administration Job Responsibilities As a Local Investigator, you will work alongside the local coordinators of the School Administration on planning, investigation, and development related to local issues connected to primary school operations. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and compiling data on the future school structure. Your daily work will involve studying the school structure without preconceived notions and objectively suggesting changes and improvements that benefit both the operation, the students' environment, and finances. The role includes processing statistics and demographic forecasts, and based on these, investigating how future student numbers and population trends affect the need for schools and facilities. You will work on developing, reviewing, and writing local needs analyses, reports, and decision-making materials for board and administrative decisions. You will also be responsible for compiling and presenting your analyses and conclusions clearly and accessibly, both verbally and in writing. Continuous collaboration occurs with the municipality's various administrations, but the focus is on providing qualified investigative support rather than leading development or change processes yourself. You will have an independent analytical role, but you will also work together with the local coordinator, where you both are responsible for the administration's location-related issues. Through this, you will contribute a strategic and long-term perspective on the primary school's local needs. You will report to the head of the finance function.
