About this role
Our current Local Strategy Specialist is retiring, and we are therefore seeking a new star who wants to take over and contribute to the municipality's development. As a Local Strategy Specialist, you will have the opportunity to influence how the municipality's premises are used and developed, with a focus on people, operations, and future needs.
Your Assignment
As a local strategy specialist, you have overall responsibility for the municipality's work with facility management. You will coordinate and lead processes that ensure premises are used in the best possible way and support the operations' goals. As a local strategy specialist, you will provide a municipality-wide perspective on facility management issues.
You will work closely with decision-makers in the municipality to influence and develop operations in Eslöv Municipality towards more efficient space utilization. The work involves many contacts, with collaboration with the Service Administration and its property division, which is responsible for management, rental, and renovation/new construction, being particularly important.
You will, among other things:
• Coordinate facility needs between different departments
• Lead work on the municipality's facility management process
• Drive the facility management planning process as a basis for budgeting
• Prepare decision-making documents, reports, and statements for politicians
• Analyze facility needs and capacity and plan long-term
Your Experience
We are looking for someone with:
• University education in real estate, urban planning, or other education and experience deemed equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in urban planning or other experience related to property development
• Good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish
• Class B driver's license
Experience in project management within facility planning or work in property development projects is considered meritorious.
