Speech Therapist in Rehabilitation

The position is a temporary contract from January to August 2026, with the possibility of extension. The team you will join consists of multiple professions, and through close collaboration, we create the best conditions for our patients. The workgroup includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, social workers, speech therapists, dietitians, nurses, and care coordinators. Samrehab is a creative base unit where one of the assignments is the rehabilitation of patients with neurological diseases, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and multiple trauma. Your role will involve assessing and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing difficulties resulting from neurological injuries and diseases. You will also be responsible for both the assessment and prescription of assistive devices, which takes place in both inpatient and outpatient care. Home visits are part of the role, and the assignment gives you the opportunity to independently plan, implement, and manage your time; you will also follow the patient through the care chain, from acute to chronic stages. The assignment and knowledge as a speech therapist are important, and you will therefore be part of several different teams around the patients. Your working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday. You need to be a licensed speech therapist, have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, and possess a B driver's license.
